Main Menu: Original VS Definitive Edition (SPOILERS)

Glazed and I have been hard at work on making FuzzBoob's Definitive Edition.

So, while Glazed works on extra art for new portions of the game...

Pudding (me) re-designed how the Main Menu looks:

And no, Definitive Edition hasn't released yet.

I wanted to make this post to show that the game is still being worked on and is alive. Don't worry. It's just taking a while. I'm doing my University Finals and Glazed is trying to work to live. If we had more time, this would be done sooner. So we apologise for the current wait.

There is no ETA for when this will release. Once it enters private testing phase, i'll implement an ETA.

How long do the nights last? 

By the way, love the freaking game! I'm glad you guys worked so hard to make such a beautiful remake!

quick tips for 4/20:

-sound is a very important tool, you get sound queues for: foxy running down you hall, bonny or chica at your door, freddy moving and a sound queue for the first time using a light on a door where a girl is, use this to your advantage especially with bonny, since you cant see her with the door closed, you can also save a good chunk of power by waiting to close the door when you hear foxy's running sound.

-speaking of foxy, how much power does she take? well, her power drain is a simple calculation of 3x # of runs, so the first time is 3, second is 6, third is 9 and so on, its best to keep the camera on her and only her and to keep flicking the camera up and down to stall her as much as possible, because you're going to need all the power you can get near the end of the night.

-bonny and chica are the main issue you face since they come very often, multiple times every hour, almost the SECOND you know they have left, open the door (unless freddy is in the kitchen and has been for about 20 seconds) like i said with sound, chica is visible with the door closed, but bonny isnt. when you hear footsteps to the left and it isnt foxy, close the door without using the light, then after a few seconds, use the light. no audio queue? Great! she has left, you can open the door again saftly, in the event she isnt gone, turn on the light, open and close the door to check if shes gone, if not turn off the light and wait a few second and try again, if shes gone, reopen the door, turn off the light and continue.

-freddy, freddy is a bit hard to figure out, i still have no idea the intervals of her movement, however, you can tell when she has reached your right door after you've heard 5 laughs. at which point, i have no idea how she works, ive tried the five nights at freddy's 4/20 of open door when off camera, the close door to open camera thing, but it didnt work. honestly, i think she will just get into your room on her next movement opportunity if your door is open when she moves and thats is.

-conclusion, good luck on 4/20, fast movement, audio awareness and quick thinking are essential for beating this challenge, something to note is you will most likely lose power before the night is over, which sorta makes beating it an RNG thing (or im just bad at power management idk) either way, like i said before, good luck!

ill post a 100% guide when definitive comes out and update it if new content gets added

for now, beat all 6 nights, beat 4/20, click the doughnut on the desk 5 times, get jumpscared by everyone, beat 1987 on night 7 and you should have 100% in the games current state.

one night consumes at least 11% of energy, which when multiplied, we get 66% of the energy used for the entire 6 hours doing literally nothing. you have 44% energy at your disposal, if you use too much, girls will get in your pants.

Bonny is visible without having to open the door through her shadow! its just that the shadow is really hard to see...
Thing is, there is a small graffiti of an alien right where the window is, and if bonnie is on the other side if the door, her shadow blocks the alien graffiti! 
Another thing that i noted was that the footstep sound queue whenever bonnie or chica get to your door has 3 total footsteps before the sound ends. If you wait for the third and final footstep to completely end, you can close the door, wait 2 to 3 seconds (i do 3 seconds just in case) and that will guarantee they will have left the door by then, meaning you wont have to waste the extra energy needed to turn on the light.

Oh, I really hope that in version 1.0.0 one of the death animations will be with FaceSitting, that would be just perfect!
If this is not a big spoiler, I would be very happy to hear the answer, will there be FaceSitting in the update?

Listen, how do you like the idea of making early versions of the game paid, so that people can buy them, play and then report bugs or something like that. And then make the full version of the game free, as for me, such an initiative will help to gain additional funds for the production of the final product. What do you think?

There is a Night 7 that acts as a custom night, and I cannot beat 4/20 mode.

well... it sucks, so I'm waiting for the final version to be released, because it's a waste of my nerves and tissues ;)

you probably don't have a problem with the energy itself, just the frequency these robo-girls come in. I limited myself to one camera and hearing to save some energy. I calculated that the minimum to go through the first hour is 11%~ energy, i.e. 6 hours=66%, so you still have 44% left in stock, plus there is a foxie that takes about 7-10% of energy for three full hits. there is no argorithm for fredie,sorry:<

I don't think you know what triple-a means. A triple-a game is a game that has been made by a multibillion $ company with thousands of employees. Think of EA, Activision, Ubisoft, etc... 

This is not a triple-a game. This is an indie game studio.

Also, they don't owe anything big to anyone.

Please do not have that static effect in the Definitive Edition (or at least have an option to remove such effects from the game).

Playing the normal game is okay for epileptic users, but with that static effect it would be way to much.

The thing is, the original game does have a lot of moments where there is heavy flashing glitches. For example, when loading into the night and switching cams you are left with a pretty aggressive white flash.

All of these flashes have been reduced to darker and semi-transparent take compared to the original and the original Five Nights at Freddy's.



I will see about trying to reduce the size.
